CAMP OLA, Albay - At least 236 individuals have been arrested since the Philippine National Police (PNP) in Bicol intensified its police operations against illegal gambling in the region from January 1 to February 22, this year.

– At least 236 individuals have been arrested since the Philippine National Police in Bicol intensified its police operations against illegal gambling in the region from January 1 to February 22, this year.

Alcaneses said that, along with the anti-illegal gambling operations, PNP Bicol also strictly implemented the “One Strike and No Take Policy”, which meant that any existence of illegal gambling activity within the area of responsibility of a police chief will result in his relief from his post.
