The Philippine National Police on Monday said the alleged circulating memorandum containing some “re-proposed measures” in preparation for the “3rd World War” is fake.

“Walang signature e. Wala rin control number. By the looks alone, mukhang di official…Yes walang pirma eh…Walang ganyan document from [Office of The Chief Directorial Staff],” PNP public information office chief Police Brigadier General Redrico Maranan told reporters in a message. The memorandum pertains to the letter supposedly from National Commission on Muslim Filipinos Secretary Guiling Mamondiong suggesting measures to strengthen the internal and external defense of the Philippines in preparation for World War 3.

Recipients of the memorandum were asked to provide comments, inputs, and recommendations on the proposed measures. They were also asked to submit their actions taken to the Directorate For Human Resource And Doctrine Development.
