MANILA -- In a nail-biter, all Filipino team ArkAngel are now one game closer to the final round of the Mobile Legends Southeast Asia Cup held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum Sunday.

The Filipinos won over Vietnam squad Overclockers, deemed as underdogs in the tournament, in the lower bracket playoff round, 2-1.

ArkAngel carried the momentum by drawing first blood against Overclockers in a furious comeback midway into the game. The Overclockers, however, were quick to find answers in Game 2. ArkAngel's win gave hope to Filipino Mobile Legends fans after crowd favorite Bren Esports bowed out early in the playoff round last Saturday.

ArkAngel will face Indonesian team Louvre Sports, which put them down to the lower bracket playoffs last Saturday in the lower bracket finals. For more sports coverage, visit the ABS-CBN Sports website.
