MAYNILA - Pumalo na mahigit 200,000 ang bilang ng mga aktibong kaso ng coronavirus disease (COVID-19) nitong Sabado, na pinakamarami na umano sa Timog-Silangang Asya.

Ayon sa datos ng Department of Health , nasa 203,710 ang bilang ng mga aktibong kaso ng COVID-19.

Aabot naman sa 72 ang bilang ng mga namatay, habang may 799 na bilang na nadagdag na gumaling sa COVID-19. Sa pagsusuri ng ABS-CBN Data analytics sa datos, Agosto noong isang taon nang umabot sa 100,000 ang mga nagka-COVID-19, at wala pang isang buwan ay sumampa ito sa 200,000. Lumilitaw na sa loob lang ng 10 araw ay nakakapagtala ng halos 100,000 bagong kaso dahil noong Abril 5 ay nasa 800,000 lang ang kabuuang kaso ng Pilipinas.
