Ramon Ang open to selling Petron back to gov’tICYMI: Business tycoon and San Miguel Corporation chief executive officer Ramon Ang has offered to sell Petron Corporation back to the Philippine government through a five-year installment payment scheme. Cory Aquino. Smart offer This has to be studied very well. One, SMC is having a hard time maintaining Petron. It already gave up on its oil refinery. Two, there are already so many smalltime players that offer much lower per liter. This may not be a good investment. Better for gov to stay as regulator.
