A new and more infectious strain of the novel coronavirus, which was first reported in the United Kingdom, has spread to the Philippines. The country’s first COVID-19 case was a 38-year-old Chinese woman from Wuhan, China, which was confirmed by the DOH on Jan. 30, last year.
