The country’s United Sustainable Development Goals Center established at the Isabela State University Cauayan has been inaugurated, the Department of Science and Technology said Thursday, Dec. 23.DOST Secretary Fortunato “Boy” T. de la Peña said the Center was formally launched on Dec. 2.
“The establishment of the first UN SDG center in Isabela State University Cauayan will further ensure the sustainability of the smarter city project and create a sustainable ecosystem to foster S&T skills, knowledge, and ability to build capacities in the region,” the DOST chief said.
