The country logged 5,411 new Coronavirus disease cases on Sunday, bringing the total to 1.507 million, 47,190 of which are active, the Department of Health said.Of the active cases, 91.9 percent were mild or asymptomatic.

The Health department also reported 5,439 new recoveries for a total of 1.433 million.Meanwhile, the death toll climbed to 26,714 with 117 new fatalities.The occupancy rate of intensive care units in the National Capital Region is at 42 percent while isolation and ward beds are at 39 and 33 percent, respectively.
