MANILA, Philippines: The Philippine men's curling team will face China the gold medal game at the Pan Continental Curling Championships Division B on Sunday (Manila time) in Kelowna, Canada.

The Philippines, led by skip Marc Pfister, reached the finals after defeating Hong Kong 9-5 in the semifinals on Friday.This is the first major international tournament the Philippine curling team has competed in.

The Chinese earlier defeated the Filipinos, 9-4, in the round robin group stage.The Philippines defeated Mexico , India , and Hong Kong before losing to China. The team rebounded by scoring blowout wins against Kenya , Saudi Arabia and Brazil in the group stage.China outplayed Mexico in the other semifinals duel.
