MANILA, Philippines: Filipino ace swimmer Jasmine Mojdeh is set to take her talents to the US-NCAA.

This, after the 17-year-old bemedalled swimmer announced her commitment to the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California on Thursday, November 2.'I am so thrilled to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at the University of Southern California. I would like to thank my coaches, my teammates, and my friends for supporting me in this journey,' said Mojdeh.

In the 2022 edition, the pride of Brent International School reached the semifinals of the girls' 100m butterfly event, becoming the second Filipino to do so.In the 2023 edition last September, the Palarong Pambansa ace also set the new Philippine national junior record in the women's 200-meter butterfly event with a clocking of 2:15.86 seconds, topping the previous standard of 2:17.09.Mojdeh has also qualified for the 21st World Swimming Championships in Doha, Qatar next year.
