The PGH has accepted an offer from the Lopez Group to help the state university hospital increase 10 times its capability to test for the virus SARS-CoV-2, the causative agent of the dreaded COVID-19.

ABS-CBN, on the other hand, is donating to PGH several units of a fully integrated automated molecular diagnostics platform, known as BD Max. This particular system combines the two processes of extraction and testing for the presence of the highly contagious virus and shortens the testing period from four hours to just two hours.

“Together with assistance from other government agencies and donors, these machines from the Lopez Group will bring us closer to the target of performing 30,000 COVID-19 RT-PCR tests daily,” Dr. Legaspi added. The Lopez Group focused on providing the machines after holding a consultation meeting with PGH officials.

Considering that the donation is for both testing and laboratory, this certainly will help a lot because right now we have laboratory capacity very much lagging compared to testing capacity.

A Lopez comapny and a public hospital full of “radical liberal leftist yellow turds who do nothing but protest and complain” joining forces to fight corona? A Duterte fanatic’s nightmare come true.

6 convicts die of coronavirus in Bucor facilities; 161 cases overall33 personnel also test positive for coronavirus, bringing the overall total to 194 confirmed cases. No personnel has died of COVID-19. Would your lives matter to the government? Sa labas nga, walang HR, sa loob pa? I wonder where they put the tally for COVID-positive PDLs. I don't see a separate row for PDLs/BJMP in the DOH tracker like that for repatriates. Def not tallied in their respective hometowns nor in Munti.
