It came to a point when I was asking myself if I still want it, if I can still do it,' said Petecio, who won her second Southeast Asian Games gold medal in Phnom Penh more than a week ago.
'Still, she remains steadfast in her Olympic drive, going back to that old motto of her: 'Walang hinto hanggat walang ginto' .'But I keep coming back to my motto that I'm not going to stop until I win a gold in the Olympics. I keep going back to that and I keep trying to find other sources of strength for me to make another Olympic run.'Honestly, I'm having a hard time to make my way back but my inner Nesthy is stubborn. We can still do it.
