A dog that was trapped in the wall of a building in Dasmariñas, Cavite for about a month after being abandoned by its owner has been recused by PETA needs a forever home.In a press release, PETA said that "Wally" was abandoned by his owner when they transferred to another residence.Construction work was conducted on the apartment building in Cavite and the dog found itself sealed inside one of the walls for about a month.
"PETA urges everyone to come to the aid of animals in need— or to call someone who can help."PETA provided Wally with veterinary care and helped find a foster home through the Ampon Alaga program, which focuses on reducing the companion animal overpopulation crisis.Wally has gained weight and is waiting to be adopted by caring guardians who would never even think of abandoning him to fend for himself.
