The crime volume in Metro Manila dropped by 30.42 percent during the Holy Week, according to the National Capital Region Police Office.

Nartatez also attributed the peaceful observance of the Holy Week to the heightened security measures of police units across the region. Police also coordinated with local government units, other law enforcement agencies and private stakeholders to augment security, according to Nartatez.
