The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) donated 40 new ambulances to local government units (LGUs), other government institutions, and non-government organizations (NGOs) in far-flung areas of the country.

On Friday, PCSO General Manager Royina Marzan-Garma led the turnover ceremony of the emergency vehicles at the PCSO Satellite Office in San Marcelino, Manila.

Garma said PCSO wants patients from various LGUs across the country to benefit from the agency’s donation. According to PCSO, the 40 Nissan NV350 ambulances cost around P 63.4 million or P1, 585, 063 per unit.
