Shipping and fishing operations in the Bicol region have now resumed as the weather disturbance had already weakened in the area, the Philippine Coast Guard said on Saturday, July 24.In a maritime advisory, the PCG said the sea travels in all ports in the Bicol region have resumed as of 12 p.m. on Saturday.Vessels, motorbancas, and rolling cargoes that were forced to take shelter in the region during the heavy rains were now permitted to travel by sea, the Coast Guard said.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said on Sunday morning, July 25, the southwest monsoon or “habagat” enhanced by typhoon “In-fa” may continue to bring rains over most of Luzon in the next 24 hours. The PAGASA advised seafarers and fisherfolk to remain alert as sea conditions, especially over the western seaboard of Luzon may become rough during severe offshore thunderstorms.
