Qualified and interested applicants will be admitted to the U.S. Coast Guard Academy — Class of 2025, which will start in June 2021 until 2025.
Upon graduation, the cadets will be commissioned at the PCG as regular officers with the rank of ensign and are required to render a minimum of eight years of continuous active service. An applicant must also take and pass certain examinations like the Scholastic Aptitude Test or American College Testing in order to be qualified for the scholarship.
“Only those who passed the prescribed SAT or ACT scores will be accommodated to the next selection process,” the Coast Guard said.
