President Marcos commended Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte for being the first among Metro Manila cities to respond to the national government's call to provide affordable goods through the 'Kadiwa ng Pasko 2022 Caravan' on Dec. 1.

Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte was commended by no less than President Marcos for being the first among Metro Manila cities to respond to the call of the national government to provide the citizens with affordable goods through the “Kadiwa ng Pasko 2022 Caravan” at the Risen Garden, Quezon City Hall on Thursday, Dec. 1.

The Kadiwa ng Pasko is a flagship project of the national government that aims to provide a market for the country’s local agricultural producers and for the public to get access to affordable and high-quality products, the city government said. It was formally launched in some cities in the country on. Nov. 16.
