“He is the face of the country and should demonstrate that we are ready to engage and coordinate with other countries,” he added. “The President’s foreign policy has always been based on our national interest. That said, we would be remiss not to promote strong and multifaceted relationships with the end goal of mutually beneficial outcomes,” Reyes said.He noted how President Marcos is always warmly accepted during his trips abroad and noted how these engagements have a positive impact on enhancing international relations.
