MANILA, Philippines – Christian Standhardinger will try to play through a sore knee when NorthPort takes on his former team, San Miguel Beer, in the 2019 PBA Governors' Cup on Wednesday at the Cuneta Astrodome.
Tautuaa has already made his debut for SMB, tallying 10 points and 5 rebounds in just over 19 minutes of action when they beat Columbian Dyip, 113-107, last week. Standhardinger, for his part, is still recovering from a nagging injury in his left knee that already kept him out of the first few games of the conference.
"The last couple of days, I've been practicing like crazy. Team practice, Gilas, exercising the knee, and so far it's holding up," he added."Let's hope it works, and if it bothers me then I'll sub myself out," he added. The Fil-German big man revealed that Jarencio has told him to "tell me when you want to be subbed out."
