PBA: KJ McDaniels scores 51, as unbeaten TNT edges Meralco

KJ McDaniels erupted for 51 points, as TNT beat Meralco 78-75 in the 2019 PBA Governors' Cup at Araneta Coliseum Saturday.

The KaTropa also got 23 points from Roger Pogoy and 21 from Jayson Castro, as TNT grabbed a spot in the playoffs.The Bolts had a chance to force overtime, but Durham's desperate heave missed its mark.In the other game, Moala Tautuaa scored 16 points to lead NorthPort past Phoenix 80-70. The Batang Pier banked on a strong first half, limiting the Fuel Masters to just 8 points in the first quarter.

NorthPort again smothered Phoenix in the fourth to post a second win in 6 games. The Fuel Masters fell to their fifth loss in 7 games.
