MANILA, Philippines — The PBA is looking at coming up with a robust look by Season 49 as the three-conference format is set to make its comeback, but this time, kicking off with the Governors' Cup .Speaking to media men prior to the start of Game 1 of the PBA Philippine Cup title series at the media room at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, league commissioner Willy Marcial bared that the Governors' Cup will feature imports with a height limit of 6-foot-6.
Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, who won the Best Import plum, led the squad to the championship after beating Barangay Ginebra in six games in the Finals.The second conference will feature the Commissioner's Cup, which San Miguel won in the ongoing Season 48 by San Miguel Beer.Marcial said based on the league board's decision, the Commissioner's Cup allows imports with no height restrictions.
