Pasig City’s COVID-19 referral center is in need of more nurses.

This was announced by Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto on his social media page Monday, the first day of Metro Manila's week-long enhanced community quarantine.

Sotto said, the referral facility, where COVID-19 patients are admitted, is ‘nearing 100%’. On Monday, an additional 16 beds were set up in preparation for more patients. “Ayoko naman sabihin back to square one, hindi naman siguro fair assessment yun, this is a new challenge,” Sotto said, even as NCR is placed again under ECQ after a year. The LGU has yet to finalize whether it will still hand out family food packs.
