“I am willing to receive the first dose of AstraZeneca vaccines once it arrives in the city to erase fear from our constituents and also to get their trust and confidence that we are all in need to be inoculated as the COVID-19 is still around,” Rubiano said.
Rubiano also said a meeting was also conducted to ready village officials of 201 barangays in the city to conduct a census in determining the number of residents who are willing to be immunized. On Wednesday, the city government announced that a deal with British drug company was signed for the purchase of 275,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccines to inoculate the city’s residents for free.
