The safety seal was stamped by DILG City Director Gloria Aguhar and was witnessed by Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano and city hall officials.
Rubiano said the safety seal stamp guarantees adherence to the prescribed sanitation, cleanliness standards, and safety and health protocols. She said that as the economy slowly rebounds after more than a year, the assurance of safety is very much needed.
The city government launched on June 11 one-stop-shops in the different malls around the city for the businesses in the city to apply for the safety seal certification.
