The city government of Pasay City issued guidelines for those visiting the city’s two public cemeteries on All Saints’ Day on Nov. 1.

Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said those who want to visit the graves of their departed loved one’s earlier than Nov. 1 or to clean their niche will only be allowed from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Rubiano said the offices at the said cemeteries will be open on Nov. 1 and 2 to accept payments for the real property tax for the niche and lot. She said those with fever, cough, cold, and those who are not vaccinated will not be allowed to enter the cemetery. The mayor added that alcoholic beverages, sharp objects, loud speakers, and gambling are not allowed inside the cemetery.

Rubiano said the last day for the cleaning and painting of niches will be on Oct. 28 while the last day for for cremation and funeral services is Oct. 30.She also also reminded the public to follow the local health protocols, particularly the EMI habit which is being implemented by the city government.
