The Parañaque City government conducted two mega job fairs in celebration of Labor Day on May 1 at SM City Sucat and SM City BF Parañaque. ManilaBulletin

According to Mayor Eric Olivarez, the city government's mega job fairs were in line with the nationwide job fair of the Department of Labor and Employment with the theme “Pabahay, Bilihing Abot-Presyo Benepisyo ng Matatag na Trabaho para sa mga Manggagawang Pilipino.”He said 45 companies participated in the job fair conducted at the SM City Sucat while 31 at SM City BF Parañaque, which offered 1,540 job slots.

He said aside from the companies that participated in the program, 11 agencies from the national government were also present at the job sites, including the DOLE, PAG-IBIG, Department of Migrant Workers, Radyo Trabaho , Social Security System, Philippine Identification System, and Overseas Workers Welfare Administration.
