PANOORIN: Jinggoy Estrada, napikon nang sinabihang ‘na-convict na’

Nagka-tensiyon ang harapan nina Senator Jinggoy Estrada at ex- PDEA agent Jonathan Morales sa Senado nang tawagin ni Morales na 'convict' ang senador

MANILA, Philippines – Nagkaroon ng tensiyon sa Senate hearing tungkol sa tinaguriang Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency leaks nitong Lunes, Mayo 13, nang tawaging “Dinidinig ngayon sa Senado ang PDEA leaks na sinasabing nagbanggit kay Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. na umano’y gumamit daw ng iligal na droga. Nakatatlong hearing na ang komiteng pinamumunuan ni Senator Bato dela Rosa, ngunit wala pang malakas na ebidensiyang nakalap na makapagpapatunay sa mga akusasyon.

Totoo naman na convict si Estrada. Hinatulan siyang guilty nitong Enero sa kasong bribery kaugnay ng pork barrel scam. Malaya lang ngayon ang senador dahil sa inaapela pa niya ang conviction sa korte, kung kaya’t siya’y pinayagang magpiyansa. Samantala, si Morales naman ay humaharap sa mga kaso, kabilang ang estafa at false testimonies. Minsan na siyang tinanggal sa PDEA, noong 2013.
