Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan senatorial candidate Salvador Panelo has guaranteed a “surprise” on May 9, election day.
In a Facebook post addressed to his supporters, Panelo said: “I trust that we will win because I feel loved and supported wherever I go.” The former chief presidential legal counsel then concluded that “there are only two possible outcomes after May 9”. Panelo reckoned that whatever happens, he already considers his campaign a success because it has raised awareness for the plight of children with disabilities and their families. He used to be a father of a child with disabilities, which he refers to as “little angels”.
