In a circular letter dated June 29, the prelate said the prayer should be recited in every Mass in the archdiocese.
“We likewise continue our petition for Archbishop Camomot’s canonization in our General Intercessions of every Holy Mass,” he added. As a sign of your benevolence to your servant’s cause, we humbly implore you to bestow upon us this favor… In the name of Jesus, our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, God forever and ever. Amen.” The prayer is also available in Cebuano.
Born in Cogon, Carcar on March 3, 1914, Camomot dedicated himself to his seminary formation at the Seminario de San Carlos in Cebu City.
