Duterte had asked Robredo to be his drug czar and promised to appoint her to a Cabinet rank position after the opposition stalwart criticized his government’s brutal war on drugs that has so far claimed the lives of thousands of drug suspects. “I cannot appoint her as a Cabinet member. If that is the way her mouth behaves, there can never be a position for her,” Duterte said.
