The celebration of the Day of Valor, or Araw ng Kagitingan, is on April 9. Since it falls on a Sunday this year, the government moved the regular holiday to Monday, April 10.
This means that the public may have their five-day break from April 6-10 since April 8 is Black Saturday, and April 9 is Easter Sunday.
