Malacañang believes that the reimposition of the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) in the Greater Manila Area will cut down the number of coronavirus (COVID-19) cases by more than 25 percent.

In his press briefing on Saturday, Roque did not go into detail but said the ECQ will result in at least a 25-percent drop in COVID-19 cases.Roque said the estimate will be explained in detail on Monday, the first day of the ECQ.
