Presidential Spokesman Salvador Panelo made the statement as he reiterated that placing Metro Manila under a community quarantine for 30 days was for everyone’s sake.In an interview with DZMM, Panelo said President Duterte will do everything he can to address the outbreak because his top priority was to protect the health and safety of all Filipinos.
“Mukhang ‘di nga bumabagsak, eh. Umaakyat eh. Kaya kasama yun sa pag uusapan bukas kung ito ba ay sufficient na yung ginagawa natin o kailangan pa natin ng mas istrikto pa yung ating gagawin ,” he added.“Ine-evaluate araw-araw yung mga kaganapan. Kung ano ang makakabuti sa ating lahat, yun ang gagawin natin ,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Palace official renewed Malacañang’s appeal to the public to cooperate with the government in addressing the outbreak.
