Nagbigay na ng deadline si Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna sa Department of Public Works and Highways upang tapusin ang pagkukumpuni sa Lagusnilad underpass.Ayon kay Princess Abante, public information chief ng siyudad, hanggang Nov. 15 lamang ang ibinigay ng alkalde sa kagawaran.Matapos kasi ang mahigit 6 na buwan mula nang simulan ang pagkukumpuni ng mahigit 6 na dekada nang kalsada noong Mayo, hindi pa rin ito bukas sa daloy ng trapiko.

"Iyong ating structural engineer na pinadesign po natin sa kanya, iyon po sa design na iyon inabot kami ng isang linggo. Hindi po kami na-delay,” dagdag niya.Tiniyak naman ng DPWH South Manila na 24/7 na ang trabaho sa Lagusnilad at matatapos na ito bago mag katapusan.
