State-run Philippine Amusement Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) projects a P75.1-billion income next year, included earnings from the flourishing Philippine Offshore Gaming Operations (POGO).

Appearing at the budget briefing of the House Committee on Appropriations, PAGCOR officials also reported that it has funded various infrastructure projects of the government, including the construction of evacuation centers as temporary shelter for calamity victims.

A portion of the gaming revenues will come from POGO earnings. This year’s projected income from POGO is estimated at P8 billion. For the first semester of 2019, Bondoc said the PAGCOR’s total income generated from January to June 2019 has reached P38 billion.
