Chief meteorological officer Lolit Vilanay of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration-Davao advised the public on Friday to monitor weather conditions specially heavy rain showers experienced every now and then.
“Ato ng bantayan ug atong i-monitor ang mga gipagawas sa buhatan sa Regional PAGASA Services Division para sa heavy rainfall and thunderstorm warnings,” she said during Kapihan sa PIA at NCCC-VPlaza on Friday. Vilanay said based on their Tropical Cyclone Threat Forecast the said LPA is less likely to develop into Tropical Depression but its track will traverse between Mindanao and Southern Visayas areas that will affect some areas of the Davao Region.
