THE Philippine Air Force received one brand-new C-295 medium lift aircraft on Monday, March 28, 2022.
PAF said the aircraft was among the three C-295 units acquired from Airbus Defense and Space from Spain under the Medium Lift Aircraft Acquisition Project pursuant to the Government Procurement Reform Act.PAF spokesperson Colonel Maynard Mariano said the unit will undergo technical inspection before formal acceptance and blessing.At present, the country has a total of four operational C-295 aircraft.
