PAF Airwomen led air defense demonstration in Pampanga

PAF Airwomen led the parade of Ground-Based Air Defense Systems during the anniversary celebrationWomen of the Philippine Air Force on Monday led the parade of Air Force Ground-Based Air Defense Systems during its 77th anniversary celebration in Basa Air Base, Pampanga, highlighting its capability to detect and destroy short to medium-range aerial threats.

The scenario featured fighter jets neutralizing enemy aircraft and conducting a bomb-run to destroy enemy command and control infrastructure, followed by targeted surface attacks from PAF’s A29B Super Tucano aircraft. Showcasing another potential for innovation, the PAF demonstrated the use of the Guided Precision Aerial Delivery System .
