Presidential aspirant and Senator Manny Pacquiao on Monday said fisherfolks affected by Typhoon Odette should be relocated in areas where they could still have access to the seas.

However, he pointed out that the new relocation sites for the typhoon victims should not deny them their livelihood. The senator also stressed that coastal communities rely on resources from the seas for their livelihood and transferring them to other areas would make it very difficult for them to make a living.
