Pacquiao, the only 8-weight-division world champion boxer, said in the 'early days' he would've easily gotten the best of Ugas.

Manny Pacquiao on Sunday acknowledged that at 42 and a lot of wear and tear over the years age might be creeping up on him already.

Yordenis Ugas of Cuba beat Pacquiao via unanimous decision, a loss that saw Pacquiao having difficulty hurting Ugas. "I'm not saying this is my excuse but my 2 legs were cramping, I cannot move around," Pacquiao said in the post-fight press conference. He added that in the "early days, I can easily move and outbox him. But this time around it's like my 2 legs were tight and hurting me in the second round until the 12th round." "I don't know, because I think too much hard work really. I ran in the mountains and also doing 32 rounds every day. I don't know, but we're not young anymore," Pacquiao said.

A debate on 'Pacquiao the Boxer' versus 'Pacquiao the Politician'FROM OUR ARCHIVES: The premise is simple: can Manny Pacquiao the boxer be separated from Manny Pacquiao the senator? PhilstarNews Masyado nang mahaba yang bakasyon sa US ha. He was not elected senator para lang sa entertainment from his boxing matches. Abuso na yan PhilstarNews Sa panalo ni Ugas ko naramdaman na sulit ang buwis ko.♥️ The only way you can separate or compartmentalize the part of Pacquiao as boxer and the part of him as politician, is to apply boxing lens when you assess him as a boxer and apply political lens when you assess him as a politician.
