A taxi driver was arrested on Thursday at the AFP-PNP Border Control Point in Lasang, Bunawan for possessing worth P72,000 of suspected shabu.
Task Force Davao in coordination with the Davao City Police Office facilitated the apprehension around 1:00 am. The authorities identified the subject as Mr. Andy Sairot Doncillo, 45 years old, single, and a resident of Santo Niño, Buhangin, Davao City, driving a white DATTS Taxi bearing a temporary plate number of 1101-1055162.With this latest arrest, Task Force Davao Commander Colonel Darren E. Comia maintained that the troops manning the checkpoints are reminded daily of the intensified Border Control Point Operations to thoroughly filter illegal items and contrabands entering Davao City.
Task Force Davao, meanwhile, turned over the suspect to the Bunawan Police Station for proper disposition.
