Some P3.8-million worth of smuggled cigarettes loaded inside a vehicle were intercepted by authorities in Dumalinao, Zamboanga del Sur on Sunday, July 3.

ZAMBOANGA CITY —

109 boxes of smuggled cigarettes were seized from a utility vehicle in Dumalinao, Zamboanga del Sur last Sunday, July 3. Intercepted by the police personnel and Bureau of Customs, the utility vehicle was carrying 109 cases of smuggled cigarettes with an estimated value of P3.815-million.The suspects, identified as Al Ibrahim, Nadz Esmael, and Madzmur Sahipa, were taken to the Dumalinao Municipal Police Station.
