OVP gets smallest share of 2021 budget

Robredo on Monday presented the Office of the Vice President’s proposed P679-million budget for next year, lower than its current P708-million appropriation after it was slashed by the Department of Budget and Management .

Camarines Sur Rep. Gabriel Bordado Jr. said it was a shame that the OVP was given the “lowest budget allocation in the entire Philippine bureaucracy.” The OVP’s proposed budget is expected to go to pandemic relief and response efforts, as well as livelihood and education programs for marginalized communities.

Ok lang yan. Pandemic madaming naghihirap, doon na lang ibigay ang pondo mas magiging kapaki-pakinabang. Sa OVP mga PR like Jover lang ang makikinabang. Eh nakakahiya naman sa mamayang tulad ko, hell tax namin yan kaya again ilagay sa kapaki-pakinabang.
