Covid19 cases in the Philippines as of July 9, 2021. Read the story:

THE Department of Health on Friday, July 9, reported 5,881 new coronavirus infections, bringing the coronavirus disease 2019 case count past 1.46 million.

Five laboratories were not able to submit their data to the Covid-19 Document Repository System last July 7. In its case bulletin Friday, the DOH also reported 70 additional mortalities and 3,003 new recoveries.The additional mortalities raised the death toll to 25,720. The case fatality rate remained at 1.76 percent.Among the active cases as of July 7, 90.3 percent were mild, 4.4 percent were asymptomatic, 2.2 percent were severe, 1.5 percent were moderate and 1.5 percent were critical.
