The Office of Transportation Security (OTS) authorities at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), intercepted two departing passengers one bound for Incheon, South Korea onboard Asiana Airlines at NAIA Terminal 1 and the other onboard a Philippine Airlines (PAL) flight to Dubai at terminal 2 for bringing handguns in their luggage without proper documents Monday morning.

The OTS officer manning the initial security check at terminal 1 held a passenger bound for South Korea for possession of a .22 caliber pistol found in his luggage.

The other Filipino passenger was identified as Jason Tobias, 34 years bound for Dubai onboard Philippine Airlines flight 658 at past noon.
