Hot weather is not exactly new to Filipinos either, but this feels different.that has already set new temperature records across much of Asia.
With the way our country is warming, commuters would be placed at an even higher risk in numerous ways. This leaves those without any of these choices to experience the toll of the current transport system, but with higher heat indices. It is yet another example of Pope Francis’s statement from the Laudato Si’, that “the gravest effects of all attacks on the environment are suffered by the poorest.”
