Parañaque City 1st District Rep. Edwin Olivarez and officials of the Manila International Airport Authority have agreed to expedite the relocation of more than 200 informal settler families living near the Ninoy Aquino International Airport runway in Barangay Sto. Niño, Parañaque.

In 2010, the MIAA agreed to allocate a P200-million fund for the relocation of the ISF families, but the project initially did not push through due to the lack of relocation sites.
