+THE Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) advised overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) in Kazakhstan on Friday, January 28, to maintain neutrality amid the prevailing political tension in the central Asian nation.In its Advisory 06-2022, POEA Administrator Bernard Olalia said OFWs must avoid being party for or against the ongoing mass protests in the host country.

"The Embassy advised the Filipino community in Kazakhstan to remain calm and vigilant, and to maintain their neutrality and avoid participating in any gatherings or meetings that are concerned with the political situation of the said country," said Olalia.
