On Tuesday, the Sampaloc-based squad claimed the Season 84 women's volleyball title after taking down De La Salle University, 25-15, 25-15, 25-22 in Game 2 of the best-of-three Finals at the Mall of Asia Arena.This NU squad also made history as it broke a 65-year title drought. They last clinched the women's volleyball title in 1957.
Earlier, five NU players were recognized in the individual awards, with Mhicaela Belen named as the season's Rookie MVP.
